Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. sharp cheese, grated
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine
    1 rounded tsp. baking powder
    red pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cream butter and cheese with hands until smooth, then work in dry ingredients until a firm dough is made.
    Run through cookie press.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until light brown.
