West Pork Chops And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    1 large onion (6 slices)
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Brown chops in oil.
    Remove.
    Stir in chili powder.
    Add green pepper, rice, tomato sauce, water and salt; cook for 2 minutes. Pour into shallow 8-cup baking dish.
    Put chops over rice.
    Place onion slices on chops.
    Cover dish.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
    Add a little water after 40 minutes to keep moist.
