Country Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. butter
    2 c. Spanish peanuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, corn syrup and water.
    When mixture starts to boil, add butter.
    When it reaches 280\u00b0 on candy thermometer, add peanuts and boil to 300\u00b0.
    Remove from heat.
    Add soda and vanilla; mix well.
    Put on two warm, buttered cookie sheets.
    Crack into pieces when cool.
