Easier-Than-A-Mix Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
dash of salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar, water and vanilla until well blended. Sift together flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda. Add all at once to liquid ingredients; mix until just blended. Spread batter in 2 greased and floured 8-inch layer pans. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
