Sauerbraten Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small onion, diced
    2 pieces bread
    2 Tbsp. milk
    pinch of taco seasoning
    1 Tbsp. oleo
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. catsup
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    pepper
    bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. raisins
    8 gingersnaps, crushed
Preparation
    Mix beef, 1 teaspoon salt and diced onion.
    Sprinkle bread with milk and taco seasoning; add to beef.
    Shape into balls and fry in oleo.
    Mix water and all other ingredients.
    Pour over meat balls and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
