Layered Enchilada Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    6 corn tortillas, buttered
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) can chopped olives
    1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion.
    Add seasonings and tomato sauce. Using a 2-quart casserole dish which has a cover, alternate layers of buttered tortillas, meat sauce, olives and cheese.
    Add water to cover.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Cut into pie-shaped wedges and serve.
    Serves 6.
