Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cake yeast
2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
1 c. shortening
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add shortening and mix.
Add yeast mixture to buttermilk and then add to dry mixture.
Knead dough enough to hold together and roll dough to 1/2 to 1/4 inch thick.
Cut with biscuit cutter and fold as for pocketbook rolls.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
May be frozen.
Makes about 5 dozen rolls.
