Dutch Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pastry for two 9-inch pie crusts
6 or 7 large tart apples
1/2 c. raisins
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. butter
lemon juice
vanilla icing
Preparation

Pare and slice apples; toss with a few drops of lemon juice. Combine with raisins, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon.
Turn into a 9-inch pie shell.
Dot with butter and top with second crust. Slit several times.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for one hour.
Cool and ice with vanilla icing.
