Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. light or dark syrup
    1 stick oleomargarine
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    5 qt. freshly popped corn
    1 c. peanuts
Preparation
    Boil brown sugar, syrup, oleo and cream of tartar together for 5 minutes and quickly stir in baking soda.
    Mix peanuts and popcorn.
    Pour syrup mixture over them.
    Mix thoroughly and spread on 2 cookie sheets.
    Put in 200\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
    Stir every 10 minutes.
    Cool and eat.
