Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. strawberry jello (Kosher; Emes brand)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 pt. strawberries

Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients.
Bring to a boil, add jello and salt. Let cool.
Pour over fresh strawberries in shell.
Cover with whipped topping or fresh whipped cream.
Refrigerate.
