Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. raw unroasted peanuts
    2 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook syrup, sugar and water to firm ball stage (244\u00b0).
    Add peanuts and continue to cook, stirring constantly until mixture is light brown in color or hard crack stage (300\u00b0).
    Stir in butter, soda and salt.
    Pour into greased baking sheet while still foamy. Cool slightly and stretch candy to desired thinness.
    When cool, break into pieces.
