Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 potatoes, cooked
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    5 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Mash potatoes. Fry ground beef until well done; drain.
    Add soup and onion mix to meat.
    In casserole dish, place 1 layer of potatoes and 1 layer of meat.
    Place cheese slices on top.
    Brown in oven until cheese is well melted.
