Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. mixed pickling spice
    1 large clove garlic
    1-2 pieces of dill
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers well and pack into quart jars.
    Add above ingredients to each quart jar.
    Finish filling jar with boiling water and seal.
    Note:
    Dill seed may be used.
    I turn jars upside down until cold.
