Ingredients

2 1/2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation

Pour eggs, cornstarch and sugar; mix together.
Add a little milk at a time.
After mixing thoroughly, add salt.
Cook slowly over low heat until thickened.
After pudding is off stove, add vanilla and butter.
Cool, then add Cool Whip.
