Shrimp Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. whole tomatoes
    2 lb. fresh medium shrimp
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 medium size head Chinese cabbage (celery cabbage)
    1 Tbsp. crushed red pepper
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Pour tomatoes in a large soup pot, crushing tomatoes with your fingers.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add olive oil and red pepper.
    Rinse shrimp and peel shell off each shrimp and add to tomatoes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Cut cabbage into 1-inch pieces and add to soup. Simmer on medium heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally or until cabbage is tender.
    Salt to taste.
    Serve with crusty Italian bread and butter.
