Fancy Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/3 c. minced onion
    1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
    1 can cranberry sauce
Preparation
    Mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, parsley, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Melt shortening in large skillet; brown meat balls. Remove from skillet and drain fat.
    Place chili sauce and cranberry sauce in skillet.
    Stir constantly until cranberry sauce is melted.
    Add meatballs and stir until coated.
    Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
