Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices white bread
butter
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 1/2 c. shredded Longhorn cheese (6 oz.)
6 beaten eggs
2 c. half and half
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Remove crusts and spread butter or margarine to taste, then place bread in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Brown sausage to crumble, drain well, then spoon over bread. Sprinkle cheese over sausage.
Mix eggs, milk and salt, then pour over cheese. Cover casserole and chill overnight.
Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until set.
Makes 8 servings.
