New Braunsfels Tortillas(Flour) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    4 level Tbsp. hog lard (Crisco)
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients, lard and finally hot water. Divide into 16 to 18 balls.
    Roll out and cook on ungreased flat griddle, turning when browned.
    Patches appear on bottom side. Brown second side and remove.
    Store in Ziploc in refrigerator.
