Chicken Elegant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oleo
    1/4 c. flour
    1 can chicken rice soup
    1 can chicken broth
    3 c. cut up, cooked chicken
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 pkg. frozen asparagus pieces
Preparation
    Melt oleo in pan.
    Add almonds.
    Brown lightly.
    Add flour, salt and pepper.
    Blend well.
    Add soup and broth.
    Stir until thick and smooth.
    Defrost asparagus.
    Grease a 2-quart casserole. Arrange chicken and asparagus in alternate layers.
    Put sauce over.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve in patty shells or over toast points.
