Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt shortening and chocolate together. Blend eggs and sugar and stir into chocolate mix.
Beat in combined dried ingredients.
Stir in nuts and vanilla.
Pour batter into greased 9-inch square pan.
Cook for 30 minutes.
Cut into squares while still warm.
