Spiced Rutabagas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. peeled and cubed rutabagas
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add sugar and cook, uncovered, an additional 20 minutes or until rutabaga is tender, stirring occasionally. Transfer to a serving bowl; sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately. Yields 6 servings (37 calories and 5% fat per 1/2 cup serving).
