Never Fail Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. pitted chopped dates
1 lb. pecans, chopped
14 oz. bag coconut (Baker's Angel Flake)
3 Tbsp. flour (optional)
2 cans Eagle Brand milk
Preparation

Chop fruit and nuts in a large mixing bowl.
Add coconut and mix well with hands.
Add flour; mix.
Add milk and mix well.
Pack firmly in a 10-inch lightly greased loose bottom tube pan (line bottom with greased wax paper).
If desired, decorate top with pecan halves and cherries.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
Remove and run knife around edge and remove rim of pan.
When barely warm, remove tube bottom and wax paper.
Keeps indefinitely or freeze.
