Pie Crusts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. lard
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Use a large bowl.
    Mix together 4 cups flour, the sugar and salt.
    Work in the lard with a pastry blender or 2 knives, or your fingers until it is like coarse cornmeal.
    You can use other shortening, but lard is best.
    Do not use oil.
    Slightly beat the egg.
    Add the vinegar and water; mix these together and add to the dry mix, a little at a time, stirring with a fork.
