Cheese Straws - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1-1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 stick butter
2 Tbsp. ice water
1-1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream cheese with butter in blender.
Add ice water; add flour and seasonings and chill.
Roll out of pastry tube or on a slightly floured board 1/8 inch thick; cut strips 1/2 inch wide, 4 to 5 inches long.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
