Baked Chicken Breasts With Gruyere And Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 boneless chicken breasts, skinned
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. fine bread crumbs
    8 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    4 oz. Gruyere cheese, shredded
    3/4 c. chicken stock (or canned chicken broth)
Preparation
    Cut chicken into chunks.
    Dip pieces in egg and then roll in bread crumbs to coat.
    Brown lightly in margarine in a small pan (or can broil for a few minutes each side).
    Transfer chicken to 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Slice mushrooms over chicken.
    Sprinkle cheese over mushrooms.
    Pour chicken broth over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until heated through.
