Cranberry Ring Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cranberries
1 1/2 c. cold water
pinch of salt
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. gelatin
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. diced celery
1 c. red grapes, seeded and halved (optional)
Preparation

Wash cranberries.
Add to 1 cup of water and cook until tender. Add sugar and cook 5 minutes more.
Soften gelatin in 1/2 cup water.
Dissolve in hot cranberries and add pinch of salt.
Chill until mixture begins to thicken.
Add nuts, celery and grapes; mix thoroughly.
Pour into oiled ring mold and chill until firm.
Serve on bed of chicory or lettuce.
