Bean And Beet Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can (50 oz.) green beans, drained
    2 medium cans wax beans, drained
    2 medium cans sliced red beets, drained
    2 green peppers, chopped
    4 onions, chopped or sliced lengthwise
    1 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. red wine vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper until sugar is dissolved.
    Cover vegetables with liquid.
    Mix and refrigerate at least 2 days, stirring very gently once each day.
    Keeps very well.
