Popcorn Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. popped corn
    2/3 c. pecans
    1/2 c. almonds
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    salt
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix popcorn and nuts.
    Toss with 2 tablespoons butter and salt.
    Combine sugar, 1/2 cup butter and corn syrup in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until mixture turns light caramel color.
    Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
    Pour over corn mixture; stir to coat evenly.
    Spread out on cookie sheet or waxed paper.
    When cool, break apart.
    Store in tightly covered container.
