Missouri Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bread, cubed
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. link sausage
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 can milk
    additional mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    In a casserole dish, line the bottom with the cubed bread. Grate the cheese and place on top of the bread. Cook and cool the sausage.
    Dice and put on top of the cheese.
    Beat together the eggs, milk and mustard.
    Pour over first mixture.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    In the morning, mix the soup and 1/2 can milk.
    Pour over top (mix in extra mushrooms, if desired).
    Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 325\u00b0.
    Turn oven off and let set in oven about 1/2 hour before serving.
