Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 heads cabbage
2 green peppers
1 large onion
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
3/4 c. vinegar
1 c. oil
1 Tbsp. mustard
Preparation

Cut up (in strips) cabbage, peppers and onion. A very large bowl is needed to hold this, but salad will shrink down to half the size. Sprinkle sugar over this. Boil salt, celery seed, vinegar, oil and mustard. Pour over the cabbage mixture and refrigerate overnight.
