Tinka Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring ingredients to room temperature.
    Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla and eggs, one at a time.
    Keep batter well creamed.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
    Do not over or underbeat.
    Put in lightly floured and greased tube or Bundt pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 12 to 16.
