Norma'S Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. extra lean ground beef
    3/4 c. onion, finely chopped
    1/3 c. celery, finely chopped
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/8 tsp. each oregano, thyme and basil
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt (to taste)
    2 cloves garlic, minced
Preparation
    Cook ground beef until it loses its color.
    Add onion, celery and garlic, cooking briefly at low heat.
    Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, herbs, salt and pepper.
    Simmer, covered, for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
