Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 eggs, beaten whole
1 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk (add 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. prunes, cooked and cut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. white syrup
3/4 stick butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Stir in a saucepan, sugar, buttermilk (in which soda has been added), white syrup, butter and vanilla.
Boil about 1 minute and pour over cake while still warm.
