Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. cabbage, shredded
2 green peppers, shredded
1 red pepper, shredded or 1 pimento, chopped
1 pt. red-wine vinegar
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
-
Combine vegetables.
Mix remaining ingredients together; bring to boil.
Pour over vegetables.
Let stand for 12 hours.
Will keep indefinitely.
Serves 20.
