Four-Fruit Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    No. 2 1/2 can sliced peaches
    No. 2 can red pie cherries
    No. 2 can crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    yellow and red food color
    bananas
    baked pie shells
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Pour the fruits into separate saucepans, adding 1/2 cup sugar to each.
    Mix the cornstarch and water; divide among the three fruits in the pans and cook until thickened.
    Add food color and set off to cool.
    Then mix the three fruits together; store in refrigerator until ready to use.
    Layer sliced bananas in bottom of baked shells.
    Fill with fruit; top with whipped cream.
    Makes three 9-inch or four 8-inch pies.
