Pennsylvania Dutch Apple Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples
    1 c. flour
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples and place in shallow baking dish.
    Sift flour once; measure.
    Blend flour with rest of ingredients and spread over top of apples.
    Bake in a moderately hot oven at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
    Serve with whipped cream or lemon sauce.
    Serves 6.
