Yum Yum Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. gelatin (lime or strawberry; both very good)
    2 c. hot water
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
    1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water; cool.
    Beat softened cream cheese with electric mixer until lumps are out.
    Add cooled gelatin to cream cheese and beat in.
    Add crushed pineapple and juice.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish. Refrigerate.
    Allow to set 2 or 3 hours.
