Cinnamon Twists - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sour cream
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cake compressed yeast, crumbled
    1 large egg
    2 Tbsp. soft shortening
    3 c. sifted flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Heat sour cream to lukewarm in a large saucepan.
    Remove from heat and stir in sugar, soda, salt and yeast (crumbled).
    Mix well.
    Turn dough onto floured board and fold over several times until it is smooth.
    Roll into an oblong 24 x 6-inches.
    Spread with 2 tablespoons of soft butter.
    Sprinkle half of dough with mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon.
    Fold over the other half. Cut into 24 strips, 1-inch wide, and twist.
    Cover and let rise until light (1 hour).
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
