Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 red bell peppers
    12 green bell peppers
    12 onions
    2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop bell peppers and onions coarsely.
    Combine with boiling water to cover in bowl.
    Let stand for 5 minutes; drain.
    Add boiling water to cover.
    Let stand for 10 minutes; drain.
    Combine vinegar, sugar and salt in saucepan; mix well.
    Boil for 5 minutes.
    Add vegetables.
    Boil for 10 minutes.
    Spoon into 2 sterilized 1-pint jars; seal with 2 piece lids.
    Yields 2 pints.
