Cherry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 packet white cake mix
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) packet slivered almonds
Preparation
    Spread pie filling in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan or pie dish. Sprinkle cake mix from box over cherries.
    Pour melted butter over top and sprinkle with almonds.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    (It will be runny and look not done.)
    Serve warm with whipped cream. Delicious!
    Serves 12.
