Christmas Pie Or Cranberry Goodin' Puddin' - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh cranberries
    1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1/4 c. shortening, melted
    whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Spoon cranberries into bottom of a greased 10-inch pie plate. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and pecans. Set aside.
    Beat eggs at high speed of an electric mixer. Add remaining 1 cup sugar and vanilla, beating well.
    Add flour, butter and shortening.
    Beat well.
    Pour batter over cranberry mixture; bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
    Yields one 10-inch pie.
