Pound Cake - Mrs. Has Owen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. pure butter
    1/2 lb. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together butter, shortening and sugar.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add one egg at a time, beating well.
    Add flour and milk alternately.
    Add vanilla, mixing well.
    Bake in angel food pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 about 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
