Hamburger Patty Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium potatoes
    3 medium carrots
    3 medium onions
    2 lb. ground beef (chuck)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. water
    paprika
Preparation
    Peel vegetables and slice into 1/4-inch slices.
    Form beef into 24 small flat patties.
    In 3-quart casserole, make layers of beef with vegetables, sprinkling layers with salt and pepper, ending with vegetables.
    Add water.
    Press down into casserole. Sprinkle with paprika.
    Cover.
    Microwave at Medium-high 45 to 50 minutes, rotating dish 1/2 turn after 20 minutes.
