Sour Cream Posy Rolls - cooking recipe

2 1/2 to 3 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. RapidRise yeast
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
1/3 c. water
1/4 c. butter or margarine, cut in pieces
2 eggs
sesame or poppy seed
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, sugar, undissolved yeast and salt.
Heat sour cream, water and butter until very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0). Stir in 1 egg and enough remaining flour to make soft dough.
Knead lightly to make soft dough.
Knead on lightly floured board until smooth and elastic, 4 to 6 minutes.
Divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll into smooth ball.
Place on greased baking sheet. Fill a shallow pan 1/2 full with boiling water.
Place baking sheet on pan to rise 20 minutes.
Make 6 (3/4-inch) snips around edge.
Beat remaining egg. Brush on rolls. Sprinkle with seed. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool on rack.
Yields 1 dozen.
