Butterscotch Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan; add brown sugar over low heat.
    Stir constantly and bring to a boil.
    Cool slightly and add eggs, one at a time.
    Add vanilla.
    Sift dry ingredients and add.
    Drop on ungreased cookie sheet by teaspoonful.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
