Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef (stew)
    2 medium diced onions
    4 medium potatoes
    4 medium carrots
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3/4 c. beef broth
    1 bay leaf
    1 c. water
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper (black)
    2 Tbsp. water
    4 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Season beef with salt, pepper
    and sprinkle flour to cover meat.
    Saute beef in onions and garlic until brown.
    Add remaining ingredients, except potatoes.
    Cook on medium heat for 1 hour.
    Add white potatoes.
    Cut potatoes in eighths.
    Cover and let simmer for 1 hour.
