Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, chopped fine
1 large yellow onion, chopped fine
1 medium green pepper, chopped
2 cloves minced garlic
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. ground cumin
1 can low sodium tomato puree
1 c. low sodium beef broth
1 Tbsp. low sodium tomato paste
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tsp. ground coriander
1 tsp. each oregano and basil
1 bay leaf
1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Spray 10-inch skillet with nonfat cooking spray.
Set over moderate heat for 30 seconds.
Add ground beef and chicken.
Stir often until no longer pink (4 to 5 minutes).
Push to one side of the skillet.
