Sweet 'N Sour Oxtails - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. beef oxtails, cut into serving pieces
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. white table wine
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 medium onion, quartered
    1 green pepper, cut in wide strips
    1 tsp. cooking oil
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Brown oxtails well in lightly oiled skillet.
    Pour off drippings.
    Add water, wine, bouillon cubes, soy sauce and salt. Bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
    Separate onion into layers.
    Saute onion and green pepper lightly in oil, set aside.
    Mix cornstarch and brown sugar thoroughly, add to oxtails.
    Cook, stirring, until thickens and clears.
    Stir in vinegar, onion and green pepper.
