Rhubarb Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2/3 c. liquid shortening
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 2/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped rhubarb
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Bake in 325\u00b0
    oven for 40 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    Makes 18 to 24 cupcakes.
