Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine flour and soda, mixing well.
    Cut in the shortening. Mix until mealy.
    Add buttermilk, a little at a time, mixing well in between.
    Turn out onto a floured surface.
    Roll out and fold up at least twice.
    Cut dough to make biscuits of desired size (a cleaned soup can works very well).
    Place on a greased baking pan and bake in a 375\u00b0 oven.
    Bake for approximately 15 minutes (until crust is at desired doneness).
    This could be more or less than 15 minutes, depending on your oven.
